Finance Supervisor - Expense Creditors

Job Description We are looking for a Finance Supervisor with great attention to detail to join our Truworths Expense Creditors team.
You will be responsible for optimizing department processes, providing strong leadership, and communicating effectively with the team and external stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesDaily supervision of Expense Creditors staffSupport the day-to-day accounts payable operationsEnsuring efficient, accurate, and timely processing of all invoicesReview and validation of invoices processedReview GL distribution of AP transactions to ensure accounting and reporting accuracyBuilding and modifying of payments in Oracle financialsReview and monitor weekly and monthly payment runsManage month-end accounts payable close processes to ensure tasks are completed timely and in accordance with proposed time framesReview of monthly supplier reconciliationsResolving supplier queriesYDE designer paymentsPerform additional responsibilities as requested by ManagementQualifications and ExperienceMatric plus Finance qualification3 - 5 years in a Supervisory roleExperience in a finance retail environment advantageousSupervisory experience working within a team dynamic would be advantageousCompetenciesVery strong computer skills: Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word) & Oracle FinancialsGood communication skills (written and verbal)Ability to handle and resolve client queries accurately and timeouslyAbility to work as part of a teamPrioritise work appropriatelyAbility to meet tight deadlines and work under pressureSelf-starter, self-motivated, and self-managedOrganised and focusedAttention to detailGood energy and attitudeAbility to multi-task
