Purpose of the Role: Our team is looking for a focused, self-motivated, and project-driven Finance Specialist. Our ideal candidate will have strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
The purpose of the role is to be the bridge between the finance team and the finance tech teams regarding the requirements to optimise reporting, focussing on Gaming/Operational transactions integration and reporting as well as Technology & Development – this will help with QA and proper scoping during running of projects and to ensure that the Tech and Finance teams collaborate effectively.
This role will report into the Finance Specialist Manager and working with the relevant Heads of Finance across the Group to achieve the targets set by the Board through improvement in processes and systems.
Duties will include, but not limited to: ERP/Software Project Management – Gaming/Operational & Technology and Development Establish and communicate the finance requirements to the ERP manager who has the responsibility to design a comprehensive strategy for achieving successful outcome of the project.
Ability to monitor the cost, calculate the number of resources for the project and deploy it for the project.
Responsible for developing a good understanding of what the output of the project should be, get inputs from the finance and communicate to the team members of the project.
End to End management and co-ordination of the project and responsible for the successful completion of the project.
Arrange all the facilities to the team who are working on the project, provide training , support and extract the best out of the team.
ERP project manager should have the ability to solve complex problems which arise in the project and responsible for the outcome and finish the project with great quality and on time.
Communicate the design schedule for the project (with the project assistant) and set timeline for each member of the team and delegate specific task to each member of the project.
Responsible for the timely completion and ERP project manager has the responsibility to complete the project within the stipulated budget.
Predict risk factors and eliminate it for the successful completion of the project.
Frequently provide feedback and report about the project to finance about the progress of project.
Accountable for ideation around finance automation through software development or implementation.
Identify risk and financial impacts of projects.
Be able to translate Finance requirements into requirements tech can build and be the guide and mentor when it comes to explaining the requirement to the tech teams.
Make recommendations to management about schedules, prioritisation, and resource.
Various Finance project as required from time to time. This can include but not limit to major queries and reviews from various tax authorities and/or regulators of which the scope requires it to be administered as a project; example Transfer Pricing reviews.
Work together with Business, Technology Teams, and Finance to understand future business requirements and strategies. Play a key role in requirements gathering, project documentation, and the translation of requirements for Technology and Finance Teams ensuring documentation standards. Be the connecting between the Technology and Finance. The incumbent will also take responsibility for the delivery of the Finance software development. 5 years of experience in a company in the ERP Finance PM or similar technology environment
Sound knowledge of Finance, Auditing and Accounting concepts
Experience with projects and risk within financial services.
Strong Technical Financial Knowledge and understanding of financial standards, policy and practice, including IFRS & budget management as well as operational tax
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Experience in MS Navision/Business Central & TM1 Cognos
Experience in MS Advance Excel and SQL
Strong knowledge of IFRS
