Finance Reporting Process Lead

Qualification  CA(SA)Skills and experience required: Ideally looking for a candidate who has built a shared service reporting process from scratch and overseen the end to end of the reporting processExpert knowledge on reporting processes and impacts of both upstream and downstream process stepsExperience working on continuous improvement reporting processesCA(SA) who is comfortable working on transactional level detail to keep track of volumes, cycle times, quality, accuracy, and stakeholder satisfactionThorough understanding of process reengineeringExperience of working in finance transformation and driving significant change through business process.Job description: Report to Group Shared Services Finance LeadLead and manage operational accounting teams consisting of General accounting team, Fixed Assets Accounting team & Bank Processing teamBenchmark processes against industry leaders, identify external best practices and drive continuous process optimisation.Manage and lead process improvements, process re-engineering & identify opportunities for automationPerform in-depth troubleshooting to support operations delivery, quality management and control.Participate in special projectsDrive ongoing standardisation and change within the operational accounting and transactional processing activitiesResponsible for sub-ledger to general ledger reconciliations.Responsible for monthly management account preparation and presentation of management accounts to Brand Finance teams.Monthly statutory reporting for group reporting.Designs operational procedures and processes that meet audit standards and improve efficiency.Agree on process responsibilities across organisational silos, conduct process reviews and approve or reject process deviation requests.Process re-engineering and technology implementationVisit www.sherecruits.co.za to view other vacancies.
