To design and implement finance processes and control across multiple business areas within business projects or as part of finance continuous improvement projects, ensuring that finances strategies are implemented in a controlled manner and meet finances requirements of design and internal controls. To ensure that there is financial integrity across the financials systems and to provide business with effective, reliable and timely financial information for management, strategic operational and financial reporting.â–ª Generate end to end finance process design and complete a detailed BRS document on projects, in particular but not limited:o Master Data requirementso Business Ruleso Clear and Detailed Process Mapso Accounting Rules/entrieso Control requirementso Reporting requirementsâ–ª Conduct workshops with relevant stakeholders to understand and document finances business requirement across multiple departments/divisionsâ–ª Liaise with project manager/IT with regards to project plans and agree deliverables and timelineso Provide input to project plans and timelineso Provides feedback on project risks including financial risks, time risks and requirements riskso Working with the systems analyst to communicate the business requirement and ongoing interaction to ensure that any development meets the business needâ–ª Developing test scripts in line with business scenarioso Conducting thorough system and integration testing,â–ª Resolving any integration errors (OIT/OSI) on a weekly basisâ–ª Responsible for developing business requirement specifications for processes and documenting enhancementsâ–ª Responsible for investigating and resolving incidents logged by the business on a weekly basisâ–ª Providing input into finance policies, principles and proceduresâ–ª Helping ensure that environment is setup for business changeo Analysing process changes, risks and impacts and facilitating communication thereofo Assisting with the analysis of process changes, risk impacts and communication required.o Compiling training material and delivery thereof Responsible for supporting the business during implementationo Supporting the users until processes and systems have stabilizedâ–ª Responsible for weekly status reporting, feedback on issues and risksâ–ª Responsible for ensuring that all documentation and portfolio of evidence is saved on the network 5+ years of the following experience:â–ª Financial systems e.g. General Ledger and Sub-ledgersâ–ª Project experienceâ–ª Process and systems documentation experienceâ–ª Training experienceâ–ª Financial accounting experienceâ–ª System testing experienceâ–ª System implementation experienceâ–ª Sound general IT knowledge Behavioural skillsâ–ª Personal Effectivenessâ–ª Passion for the Brand and Customersâ–ª Leading Transformationâ–ª Thinking Strategically and Commerciallyâ–ª Connecting Peopleâ–ª Delivering High Performanceâ–ª Having a Merchant Mindsetâ–ª Making Insightful Business Decisionsâ–ª Driving Qualityâ–ª Planning and Organising JOB REQUIREMENTSâ–ª BCom Hons (Majoring in Financial Accounting)â–ª Articles experienceâ–ª Post-graduate qualification in Internal Audit
