To ensure that there is financial integrity across the financial systems and to provide business with effective, reliable, and timely financial information for management, strategic operational and financial reporting.Key ResponsibilitiesGenerate end-to-end finance process design and complete a detailed BRS document on projects, in particular but not limited to:Master Data requirementsBusiness RulesClear and Detailed Process MapsAccounting Rules/entriesControl requirementsReporting requirementsConduct workshops with relevant stakeholders to understand and documentLiaise with project manager/IT regarding project plans and agree on deliverables and timelinesProvide feedback on project risks including financial risks, time risks, and requirements risksWork with the systems analyst to communicate the business requirements and ongoing interaction to ensure that any development meets the business needDevelop test scripts in line with business scenariosConduct thorough system and integration testingResponsible for developing business requirements specifications for processes and documenting enhancementsInvestigate and resolve incidents logged by the business on a weekly basisHelp ensure that the environment is set up for business changeAnalyse process changes, risks, and impacts and facilitate communication thereofAssist with the analysis of process changes, risk impacts, and communication requiredCompile training material and deliver itSupport the users until processes and systems have stabilizedEnsure that all documentation and portfolio of evidence is saved on the networkMinimum Requirements5 years of the following experience:Financial systems e.g.
General Ledger and Sub-ledgersProcess and systems documentation experienceTraining experienceFinancial accounting experienceSystem testing experienceSound general IT knowledgePersonal EffectivenessPassion for the Brand and CustomersLeading TransformationThinking Strategically and CommerciallyConnecting PeopleDelivering High PerformanceHaving a Merchant MindsetMaking Insightful Business DecisionsDriving QualityPlanning and OrganisingJob RequirementsBCom Hons (Majoring in Financial Accounting)
