Assist in bookkeeping and maintaining accurate financial records.
Support budget tracking and provide insightful financial reports for ongoing projects.
Reconcile accounts and assist with month-end closing procedures.
Liaise proactively with vendors, participants, and internal teams regarding financial matters.
Prepare weekly payment runs for authorisation and ensure timely bank entries.
Perform daily bank account reconciliations and reconcile monthly credit card statements.
Handle VAT accounting for both Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable in Xero.
Complete weekly income reconciliations for review and reporting.
Ensure all financial documentation is accurate and detailed.
Identify areas for improvement in financial processes and systems, streamlining operations.
Qualifications: Proven experience in a finance or accounting role, with a solid understanding of VAT.
Proficient in Xero, Excel, and Google Sheets.
At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, unpredictable environment.
Experience with multi-currency transactions.
Exceptional attention to detail and investigative skills, ensuring accuracy in all financial matters.
Strong organisational abilities with the capacity to prioritise tasks, even in the face of unexpected challenges.
