2024-11-27 - 2024-12-27ContractorEL002894FinanceGauteng , JHB - Northern SuburbsWe are seeking a Finance Officer for a contract role until March 2025 based in Rivonia, Gauteng.Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:Degree in accounting, finance or business administration5+ years' experience in financial admin, bank recon, creditors processing / procurement proceduresMust have completed SAICA training contract / articlesExposure to Global Fund experience advantageousGood MS Office ability and high levels of confidentialityThe successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to:Creditors recon & payment processing – supplier recons; purchase order recons; check GL accounts; capture invoices; load payments; ensure bank details match; creditors age analysis; ensure payment cycle is executed; reconcile balance sheet; deal with queriesAccounts receivable – produce invoices; check timesheets against charge out; ensure correct supporting documentation is submitted; accurate preparation of payment requestsPayroll processing – capture payroll data; compile & submit VAT201 and EMP201; cost analysisPetty cash / bank statements – monitor and reconcile bank statement; ensure petty cash availability; cash reconciliations monthlyMonth end reporting – journals; allocations; cashbook processingGovernance & controls – respond to audit requests; filing/archiving financial documents; ensure SARS complianceSalary: Negotiable (for the contract duration)Please email detailed CV and supporting documentation and salary requirements through to ****** with "Finance Officer" in the subject lineIf you have not received a response within 7 working days, please consider your application unsuccessful
