THE FOLLOWING POSITION IS AVAILABLE AT SIZA WATER:
FINANCE MANAGER (REF: FIN/04/2024)
The successful applicant is required to perform the following key functions, amongst other duties:

Internal Audit of companies within the group.
Accounting work for companies within the group.
Business development and financial modelling for all group entities.
Coordinate, analyse, and report the financial performance to management and the board of directors.
Prepare and compile the annual budget and forecast.
Prepare long term financial modelling.
Performing all Tax statutory calculations and ensure that returns are submitted and paid timeously (VAT, provisional tax and income tax returns to SARS, annual returns to CIPC and returns to Stats SA).
Responsible for maintaining and implementing internal controls and ensure compliance.
Compliance with financial reporting standards and regulations.
Preparing audit files for external auditors as well as liaison with external auditors.
Prepare draft annual financial statements.
Other related functions within the Finance Department.

The applicant is required to have:

Chartered Accountant CA(SA).
At least 2 years' experience in managerial role.
In depth knowledge of IFRS and taxation.
Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and other accounting software systems.
