RPO Recruitment is currently seeking a Finance Manager with experience in the mining industry to join our client's team in Gauteng. As a Finance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the mining company, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and providing strategic financial guidance. This is an exciting opportunity for a finance professional with a strong background in the mining industry to contribute to the success of our client's organization.ResponsibilitiesManage the financial operations of the mining company, including budgeting, accounting, and financial reporting.Ensure compliance with mining industry regulations and standards.Develop and implement financial policies and procedures specific to the mining sector.Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports.Provide strategic financial guidance and analysis to senior management.Manage financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial goals are met.RequirementsBCom Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.Chartered Accountant qualification is preferred.Pastel/SAGE, VIP Payroll/SAGE Certificate.Minimum 10 years' experience in a Finance role, of which 7 years in a mining environment.Financial reporting as per IFRS and GAAP, Banking, Statutory Compliance (VAT, Income Tax, Royalty, etc); Audit (Handling & drafting Financial) experience is essential.Strong knowledge of mining industry regulations and standards.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong understanding of mining industry financial processes and reporting.Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.Strong leadership and team management abilities.BenefitsSalary: Negotiable.Family Leave (Maternity, Paternity).Paid Time Off (PTO) (if applicable).RPO is a Specialist Recruitment Agency that provides candidates and clients with unique recruitment solutions tailored to their needs.
