Our services are focused on sustainable certification, including organic, fair trade and Rainforest Alliance.Overall job summary: They are hiring a Finance Manager to be based at their office in Somerset West to start in December or as soon as possible. You will form part of an existing financial team (1 direct report) and report to the General Manager. This position offers an opportunity to gain valuable experience in a small (but fast growing!) company through managing all financial matters, compiling relevant financial reports and ensuring tax compliance. As part of the group, you will also gain valuable international experience.Duties & ResponsibilitiesEnsure accurate and timely financial reportingForecasting and budgeting at subsidiary levelManaging month-end closure processesOverseeing the finance team's performanceCapturing and reconciliation of intercompany transactionsEnsure compliance with all statutory requirements (IT/VAT/PAYE)Administer the payroll function (SimplePay)Collaborating with other departments reliant on financial dataTaking charge of general tasks within the finance departmentDesired Experience & QualificationTertiary degree in accounting or financeCompleted SAICA or SAIPA articlesMinimum 2 years related work experiencePractical accounting experience including the preparation of financial statementsAdvanced computer skills (E.g.
