A leader in the manufacturing, security and protection space requires the assistance of a seasoned Finance Manager with the ability to provide strong financial leadership.
Responsible for planning the regional budget, business planning and day to day management of of the Accounting operations.

The role is based in Paarl and is a 6 month contract.
Responsibilities: Consult and educate on complex financial and operational matters to all department leaders Liaise with General Manager and Senior Management explain results, make improvements, manage projects, identify inefficiencies, understand operations Manage the accounting daily activities, ensure control is in place, manage team performance and development Manage accounting operations Billing, A/R, A/P, G/L, Inventory/Cost Accounting and Revenue Recognition Lead month-end closing, prepare monthly financial statements and operational reports Analyse variances (Material/Labour/Overheads) and communicate explanations to management with proposed actions Calculate Activity Based Costing, Standard Costing and Pricing Prepare forecasts of income statement, balance sheets, and statement of cash flows for the region Work across organisation boundaries and all levels of the company to achieve regional and corporate objectives Trains new staff and existing staff Share best practices across global finance/plant controller, i.e.
process improvements, financial modelling and procedure changes Implement and maintain plant internal controls necessary to ensure reporting integrity Responsible for working capital management, cash forecasting and liaising with suppliers and customers to improve working capital management, cash collections, stretched payments etc.
Lead year end Audit activities Requirements: CA (SA) / Professionally Registered Accountant / CIMA with completed articles 10 years experience in a multinational organisation Financial Manager / Finance Controller within the manufacturing environment MS Office and ORACLE/SAGE/IFS financial software skills, experience with OneStream and Power BI systems Excellent financial control and reporting skills and ensuring that all statutory and corporate obligations are met Effectively communicate with management, public groups, colleagues Excellent communication skills, internally and with clients Ability to build relationships with colleagues, clients and staff in charge Please note that if you have not heard from us within 2 weeks of your application, please consider it as unsuccessful for this particular role.
