Finance Manager

A leader in the manufacturing, security and protection space requires the assistance of a seasoned Finance Manager with the ability to provide strong financial leadership. Responsible for planning the regional budget, business planning and day to day management of the Accounting operations. Responsibilities:Consult and educate on complex financial and operational matters to all department leadersLiaise with General Manager and Senior Management to explain results, make improvements, manage projects, identify inefficiencies, and understand operationsManage the accounting daily activities, ensure control is in place, and manage team performance and developmentManage accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, G/L, Inventory/Cost Accounting, and Revenue RecognitionLead month-end closing, prepare monthly financial statements and operational reportsAnalyse variances (Material/Labour/Overheads) and communicate explanations to management with proposed actionsCalculate Activity Based Costing, Standard Costing, and PricingPrepare forecasts of income statement, balance sheets, and statement of cash flows for the regionWork across organisation boundaries and all levels of the company to achieve regional and corporate objectivesTrain new staff and existing staffShare best practices across global finance/plant controller, including process improvements, financial modelling, and procedure changesImplement and maintain plant internal controls necessary to ensure reporting integrityResponsible for working capital management, cash forecasting, and liaising with suppliers and customers to improve working capital management and cash collectionsLead year-end Audit activities
