Finance Manager

Senior Financial ManagerOur client provides services to the travel and tourism industry, and they are looking for a Senior Financial Manager to join their team in Johannesburg, Gauteng, with regular travel required to SADC countries.The Senior Financial Manager will report directly to the CFO and be responsible for overseeing the Finance Department.RESPONSIBILITIES:Deliver timeous and accurate company Management Accounts to the CFO and Group.Ensure statutory compliance - AFS; VAT; PAYE, etc.Analyse company profitability and make recommendations to the CFO.Annual Budgeting, Financial Statements, Audit, BEE.Manage, lead, and drive the Finance Team.Travel to SADC countries on a weekly basis to touch base with the other finance departments.QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:Qualified CA (SA), CGMA.Relevant Accounting/Finance Degree minimum.Minimum of 5 years post-article experience in a commercial company.Minimum of 5 years experience working in one of the following positions or similar: Financial Controller, Junior Financial Manager, or Financial Manager.Excellent Data Analysis, Financial Modelling, and Excel skills.SAGE X3 or SAGE Intacct experience is highly beneficial.The ideal candidate is someone who has an involved, developmental management style and approach and does not shy away from taking the lead and driving the Finance Team towards high performance.SALARY:Cost to Company Per Annum: R1 200 000 - R1 500 000 (dependent on qualifications and candidate experience).
