Finance Manager

RequirementsFinancial Qualifications – B-Comm Accounting or equivalentSAP ExperiencePrevious Manufacturing experience will be an advantageousAdvanced Excel skillsPrevious Management experience – Mentoring a teamGreat communication skills – verbal and written.
Process improvement.Review the company's internal processes and propose improvements.Manual processes that need to be updated and automated where possible.Improve the outputs of functions through process improvement.
Team Management.Upskilling of Finance & Controlling ("FiCo") Team members.
Collaborate in identifying the skill gaps in each of the team members and have an agreed measurable that you will assess them on.Have a timetable agreed upon for the finance team (including an overall team target and individual targets) that will allow the finance function to achieve deadlines.
Finance-Company Relations.Improving the relations between the finance function and the rest of the company.Collaborate in meetings with Heads of Department and where necessary, give support to achieve budget targets.
Reporting.Oversee the timely submission of financial reports to the Group and internallyEnsuring that month-end reporting is completed by the date set by the Group Ensuring that year-end reporting is completed by the date set by the GroupImproving debtors' daysOversee preparation of regular cash flow forecasting.Collaborate on improvement milestones to be presented to the GM Reducing Cost.Assessing cash drains and discussing improvements with the FiCo Manager and GM.
Specific Projects for the Company.Collaborate in assessment & reduction of Balance Sheet liabilitiesCollaborate in assessment & reduction of Balance Sheet provisions
