8 years work experience in finance with minimum 3 years in a senior financial role, experience in an multinational environment would make the ideal candidate.The Position partners with the Managing Director, Mddle East and Africa Finance Director and Business Managers in the development and rollout of the company's vision and strategy.

Develops, refines, and implements insights, recommendations, processes, reports, and tools.The Finance Manager is also responsible for the daily management of the financial department and the integrity of the financial reporting.Main Accountabilities1.
Develop, manage and control the financial monitoring and reporting of the business both to internal and to external auditable standards in order that the business can operate and produce accurate financial accounts and meet statutory requirements, local GAAP and IFRS Standards.
Manage all internal and external audit activities.Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.3.
To act as/coordinate with Company Secretary to meet all accounting and legal requirements such that the business conforms to the requirements laid down by the Companies Activities4.
Maintain the strategic planning processes and pull together strategic and financial plans for review and agreement in order to support and drive the delivery of the Business Plan; Lead company-wide cost improvement initiatives5.
Manage, motivate and lead the Finance team and develop the staff to continuously improve the finance operations and the access to reliable, accurate performance data in order to allow the business to meet the needs of customers, suppliers and markets alike.6.
Mitigate business risks by warranting the right governance systems and processes are in place to ensure compliance to all legal and Azelis Codes of Conduct, Internal Rules and Procedures, Workday Policies,..Advise management pro-actively on critical trends, financial environmental changes, financial risks and current as well as pending legislative changes.
Execute and drive the B-BBEE plan and implementation.
Review of financial feasibility studies in relation to new business initiatives or acquisitions.
The jobholder requires a wide spectrum of experience to handle all aspects of management of finance, budgeting, insurance, credit control and business operations for a stand-alone Limited Company.
Translate the Group's Sustainability Strategy into concrete job-related action items and contribute actively and timely to the implementation of the sustainability KPIs Assist in the Post-Merger Integration of newly acquired companies People Management• Line management and coaching of the team, stimulate high quality performance of team members.• Identify training needs with the team.• Responsible for retention, recruiting, training, rewarding, etc..Experience, Skills & EducationBachelor's Degree in Finance and CA(SA)/MBA8 years work experience in finance with minimum 3 years in a senior financial role, experience in an multinational environment preferredThorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures and principlesExperience in foreign trading operations will be advantageousAccuracy and attention to detailAptitude for numbers and quantitative skillsGood knowledge of English.Excellent verbal and written communicationExcellent interpersonal skillsAdvanced knowledge of excel including pivot tablesKnowledge of Dynamics 365 will be an advantage
