Finance Manager

Our client is looking for a Finance Manager to join their team.
The purpose of this role is to provide an accurate account keeping function for the purposes of reliable financial reporting as well as strategical support to board.Responsibilities:To ensure that all stipulated financial deadlines are adhered to, to mitigate risk of late financial reporting.Managing and Supervising staff.OperationalManage finance staff and ensure all staff work according to their required KPI's and achieve the relevant department deadlines.Ensure the accurate processing of transactions, on all accounting, bookkeeping and operational platforms and software systems.Ensuring accurate financial reporting to relevant EXCO members, this includes the preparation of monthly management accounts, as well as FINCO reports.Managing imports, liaising between supplier and freight forwarding agentsOversee certain payroll activitiesContinuously monitoring and developing financial process's and proceduresManaging stock, and full inventory control.Working together with other financial managers to ensure a smooth running of the financial departmentDaily cashflow management and reportingFull fixed asset controlStatutory and tax compliancePreparing annual budgetsAssist the external auditors with annual financial audits.Financial risk managementEnsuring all financial/ accounting computer systems is running smoothly, and that staff are trained.Assist the CFO with any financial requirements within your scope, where required.Providing insights on the financial health of the organisation.Looking for cost-reduction opportunities.Insuring sound financial processes and procedures within the financial department.Any other responsibility that may be required, but not necessarily detailed above, for the smooth running of the department.Work in conjunction with the various departments as required to ensure effective communication is sent from yourself to the relevant departments.
Manage the communication process with the departments as per deadlines.
