The candidate will provide operational oversight, and management of the finance and procurement team.Job Title: Group Finance ManagerLocation: Johannesburg, RobertvilleExperience: 3 – 6 yearsType: Full TimeClosing Date for Applications: 20 October 2023DESCRIPTIONYou will be expected to plan, implement, manage, and control all Group operational oversight of the Finance and Procurement function of the Group, including but not limited to:Protect the vital assets of the Group, ensure compliance with financial regulations, close the books correctly, and communicate value and risk issues to Exco and the board.Operate an efficient and effective Group finance by providing a variety of services to the business such as financial planning and analysis, treasury, tax, and other finance operations.Design financial and operational policies for the Group.Automation of financial and procurement activities in the Group to minimize manual intervention and inefficiencies.Review of Group quarterly Management Accounts and prepare report to the Group Exco and the board.Review of Consolidated Annual Financial Statements.Review the audit readiness of the Group and coordinate all audit activities in the Group.Review Group weekly 3 months-rolling cash flow forecasts and present them to Exco.Coordinate the annual business planning activities of the Group and prepare financial models for the Group.Oversee the day-to-day finance tasks (review the general ledger, and reconciliation, journals and month ends).Perform evaluations/feasibility on acquisitions and CAPEX.Assist with BBBEE verifications.Liaise with bankers, suppliers, landlords and any other stakeholders as required.Assist and provide input on strategic projects that have financial implications.ATTRIBUTESStrong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with large, culturally diverse teams at all levels.Analytical abilities and problem-solving skills.Mentoring and coaching ability.Excellent verbal and written communicator.Excellent organisational, multi-tasking and time management skills with demonstrated ability to work efficiently and meet tight deadlines.Advanced Excel.QUALIFICATIONSB Com Honours/CTA, Chartered Accountant (SA) or CIMA.Minimum 3 years post articles.Experience in overseeing strategic projects.Experience in manufacturing and FMCG companies or audit will be advantageous.ERP experience will be beneficial.If you meet the criteria and wish to apply, please email your updated CV to ****** by the on 20 October 2023.Please note, shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
