Finance Manager

Our client is looking for a Finance Manager for a temporary role based in Rosebank. As the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our financial health, from managing accounts and preparing reports to collaborating with external auditors and implementing financial controls. You will play a key role in providing financial insights and analysis to support informed decision-making by the board and senior management.Managing the company's financial accounting, monitoring and reporting systemsPreparing monthly and quarterly management accounts against specific deadlinesPreparing annual financial statements against specific deadlinesProducing reports for board board committees, attending meetings and reporting to board on financial mattersLiaising with external auditorsManaging all banking and investment accounts, including reconciliationsManage the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and actual reportingMonitoring and interpreting cash flows and predicting future trendsPerforming VAT calculations, reconciliations, submissions and paymentsImplementing risk management controls and internal financial controlsDebtors control managementManaging BBBEE certification processDevelop systems and processes to support delivery of the objectives of the companyManage contracts and relationships with external service providersReplying to all financial queriesMonitor administrative budget spend and update CEO on a monthly basisTo undertake any other tasks allocated by the CEORequirements: BCom (Acc), BAcc, CA(SA), CIMA, ACCA, CGISA (with Accounting subjects) or other recognized accounting degree/qualificationAt least 5 years accounting experienceComputer literate – Excel, MS Word, a recognized accounting package, Sage Evolution is an advantage
