Reporting to the General Manager, this role will be responsible for the overall administration and finance for the company, Corporate and IT activities.Job DescriptionContribute to make LESAFFRE known as a Global Key Actor in Bread-making Solutions (Yeasts, Bread-Making Ingredients, Technical Support) in the Republic of South Africa.Structure and optimize the financial performance of the company, including its reporting, cash-flow management, and return on investments.Ensure compliance with the South African tax and legal regulations, in accordance with the Lesaffre principles in terms of compliance and anti-corruption.Main responsibilitiesTreasury - Cash and risk managementResponsible for Cash ManagementPlans, projects and reports cash-flow to ensure that sufficient cash is available for the operation and expenditures.Develops plans for short-term and long-term financing if required.Manages ongoing banking relationships for maximum efficiency and oversees all daily banking activities.Accounting, Tax, and Internal controls, and external AuditStructure and manage the financial system, ensuring maximum productivity and that it meets current business needs and future requirements.Ensure the monthly and yearly closing processes.Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, and document business transactions.Establish, maintain, and coordinate the implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures.Develop and oversee accounting policies and procedures to meet both current and future business models.Interact with internal and external auditors, review and analyze results.Liaise with TAX authorities and tax consultants to ensure all taxes are in order.Coordinate the annual report and prepare the financial section.Ensure the entities foundations comply with all internal policies and relevant regulations and ensure filings are completed in a timely manner.CostingSupervise monthly analysis of cost of goods sold and operational expenses against prior year and budget, providing explanations and business solutions to help mitigate risks.Perform cost analysis and cost accounting for all products to ensure a proper decision support system.Partner with Product Management and Purchasing Team in determining financial impact due to cost variations and prepare periodic forecasts to update management on projected results.Prepare new products/modified products financial simulations.Reporting ManagementPrepare the Management Account and analysis that will support the Leadership Team to drive the business (monthly, quarterly, yearly).Develop regular reporting and analysis, including dashboards.Ensure financial management reporting tools and processes are in place to support the business needs and mitigate risks, like aging reports for all debtors control and follow-up.Ensure Management Reporting is submitted on time with the relevant quality into the Lesaffre Group system.BudgetingLead the annual budget process.Support and advise the General Manager in the Budget target definition.Manage the financial modelling and analysis to support the development of long-term strategic initiatives and business plans.Prepare and review budget, revenue, expense, invoices, and other accounting documents.Monitor annual and monthly operating budget for all departments, variances to ensure on a monthly basis that company profitability targets are achieved.Analyze revenue.Analyze OPEX and CAPEX needs to recommend appropriate budget levels and ensure control.CorporateLead Corporate process, working if necessary, with an external lawyer to prepare BoD, Financial statements approval, BoD resolution.ITLead IT with support from the service provider to ensure data protection, and efficient use of the software.Coordinate with procurement hardware management.OrganizationalResponsible for recruiting, training, supervising, and evaluating the team.Identifies development needs of the team and supports their development.Ensures that each team member has clear objectives, job descriptions, and performance reviews.Responsible for streamlining the organization and making it more efficient, through reducing unnecessary headcount, injecting new expertise, and continuous development.QualificationsMain job skills:Graduated as Chartered Accountant (SA) or in Business Administration and a minimum 10 years' experience in a comparable Finance Manager position.Fluent in English.Self-managing abilities essential, ability to prioritize and organize tasks.Good interpersonal relations, ability for building nice relationships with different partners (distributors, clients).Soft skills:Project management.SAP.IT tools: Word, Excel, PPT.Behavioral skills:High level of integrity.Guarantees consistent and reliable information.Strict sense of confidentiality.Able to step back, put perspective in the analysis, implement structure.Able to advise, propose alternatives/solutions, innovative.Team Spirit.Strong desire to be hands-on, and to deliver.Able to work autonomously, with agility and anticipation.Self-motivated, diplomatic, energetic, strong ability to convince.Interest and pedagogy in skills sharing.Additional InformationReporting directly to General ManagerFunctionally report to the MEA Finance DirectorVideos To Watchhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UzL0-vQRHrk
