Finance Manager

RS Recruitment is assisting a STEEL MANUFACTURING COMPANY based in WESTMEAD DURBAN to recruit a FINANCIAL MANAGER, medical aid and provdent fund benefits. OUR CLIENT, A SUBSIDIARY OF A JSE-LISTED GROUP, IS A SPECIALIST STEEL SERVICE CENTRE AND HAS OVER 41 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE WITH AND ARE EXPERTS IN ALL THINGS STEEL. Applicants should have/be the following: A minimum of about 5 years working experience in a similar role as a FINANCIAL MANAGER.
A relevant qualification.
Experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience leading a finance team.
Experience with SYSPRO or similar.
Key performance areas: Budget preparation.
Provide and interpret financial reports and make business recommendations.
Reconcile bank accounts and general ledger accounts.
Reconciling all balance sheet and income statement accounts.
Preparing year-end books for audit.
Management of cash, receivables and inventory.
Remuneration: Market related with benefits.
