RS Recruitment is assisting a STEEL MANUFACTURING COMPANY based in WESTMEAD DURBAN to recruit a FINANCIAL MANAGER, medical aid and provdent fund benefits. OUR CLIENT, A SUBSIDIARY OF A JSE-LISTED GROUP, IS A SPECIALIST STEEL SERVICE CENTRE AND HAS OVER 41 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE WITH AND ARE EXPERTS IN ALL THINGS STEEL. Applicants should have/be the following:A minimum of about 5 years working experience in a similar role as a FINANCIAL MANAGER.A relevant qualification.Experience in a manufacturing environment.Experience leading a finance team.Experience with SYSPRO or similar. Key performance areas:Budget preparation.Provide and interpret financial reports and make business recommendations.Reconcile bank accounts and general ledger accounts.Reconciling all balance sheet and income statement accounts.Preparing year-end books for audit.Management of cash, receivables and inventory.
