Rallim Modern Learning Environment, a private school situated on Berkshire Boulevard, Sunningdale, in the Western Cape, is seeking to employ a Finance Manager to join a talented and creative community. First preference will be given to candidates based in Cape Town.
Key Roles and Responsibilities: Review monthly financial processing for accuracy and reasonability.Prepare monthly management accounts and conduct detailed analysis.Compile various financial reports and perform monthly reconciliations.Asset Management.Credit Card Management.Management of Debtors.Oversee budget preparation and management.Assist with annual tax return submissions.Prepare annual financial statements and liaise with internal/external auditors and tax consultants.Ensure compliance with statutory obligations (VAT, PAYE).Draft and implement financial policies.Assist with company secretarial tasks and perform ad hoc duties as assigned.The successful candidate will report to the Group Chief Financial Officer and the Chief Operating Officer.
Qualifications: Grade 12/Matric Certificate.B Com Degree in Accounting.Skills and Experience: Minimum of 4 years of post-qualification experience.Proficiency with accounting software packages.Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.Strong knowledge of IFRS and internal control principles.High attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to meet deadlines and work independently.Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.Completed articles will be advantageous.Remuneration: R30 000 – R35 000Documents required to apply for this vacancy: The following documents are mandatory and must be attached with your applications.
