Finance Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION The Waste Control division currently has a vacancy for a motivated, professional and organized Finance Manager to join their team.
The position requires an efficient individual who is able to work in a fast paced environment and meet strict deadlines.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Review and check all debtors invoicing to ensure that it is accurate and completeApproval of sales order quotesReconciliation of complex accountsCommunicating with customers regarding queriesManage, develop, mentor and lead the finance teamApproval of purchase ordersBank reconciliationImplement and maintain Financial controlsInternal auditing and ensuring completeness of source documentsProvide regular updates on departmental performanceQUALIFYING EXPERIENCE: Relevant degree or Accounting Diploma qualificationA minimum of 10 years work experience in a finance or financial administration positionMinimum of 5 years' experience in a managerial positionExperience in using ACCPAC is an added advantageProficient knowledge of Microsoft Office – Advanced Excel knowledge is a mustQUALIFYING ATTRIBUTES: Exceptional managerial and interpersonal skillsExcellent problem solving and decision making abilitiesDetail orientated with a focus on accuracyMust be able to work with independently and effectively to meet tight scheduled deadlinesSelf-motivated an results orientatedAttention to detailMust be a team playerDisplay a professional work approachLogical and detail orientatedExcellent standards of executionTrustworthy and reliableThe ability to detect and solve problems
