About The Opportunity
Our team, based in Johannesburg, is currently seeking a Finance Manager to join them. In this hands-on role, you will play an integral role in the daily finance operations of the AMEE region (Africa, Middle East, and Europe).
Your key responsibilities will include:

Working closely with senior management and overseeing the day-to-day financial activities of the AMEE region.
Assist with the month-end close process by analysing the P&L and capturing month-end journals.
Preparation of budgets and forecasts.
Banking function – Including daily bank reconciliations, managing cash covenants, and cash flow forecasting.
Accounts payable function – capturing costs and ensuring all suppliers are paid on time.
Payroll function – Preparation and processing of the payroll for the SA, UK, and Germany team including all necessary tax returns.
Tax compliance – Ensure that the regions' VAT, income tax, and payroll tax submissions are completed and submitted on time.
BBBEE compliance – assist with the preparation of the reports required for the BBBEE submissions.
Sales support – Support the sales team with returns, credit notes, and queries.
Supporting financial process improvements and the integration of systems with Head Office.

About You
You will have a proven background within accounting positions ideally within a multinational organization.
Other key skills, experience, and qualifications:

8+ years of experience in accounting and business administration.
Management accounting experience, including P&L, balance sheet, cash flow statements, budgeting, forecasting, and reconciliations.
Experience overseeing compliance and payroll.
Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g. NetSuite, SAP, Sage).
Well-versed with using the Microsoft Office suite of applications, especially Microsoft Excel.
