Job DescriptionTo support the business in commercial & risk aspects and to provide strategic and operational reporting on matters related to financial sustainability for the LAF business.This is a Fixed Term Contract position for 6-12 months.ResponsibilitiesProvide Integrated commercial strategy in line with stated customer needs and business strategies/objectives.Maintenance of the business strategic financial models and provision of commercial input into the annual business strategic plans.Establishing and leading annual budget and submissions to Tiger corporate.Governance.Business Decisions.Establishing and leading quarterly forecasts and submission to Tiger corporate.Business performance monitoring.Commercial support:- Innovation.- Pricing decisions.- Problem stock surplus/shortages monitoring.- Channel and customer commercial support management.Competitive value chain performance.Viability/feasibility studies as required by Managing Executive or Category Executive.Compiling and preparing of Intangible valuations.Managing of and assistance to finance team with financial month close-out (specific provisions and schedules).Monthly prep for and upload into FCC (Financial Consolidation and Close, which is the reporting tool used by Tiger) and submission of financial reports.Upload into FCC and reporting on Budget and Forecasts.Monthly review of all balance sheet reconciliations.Monthly review of all nominal journals.Manage bi-annual external audits for L&AF.Assistance and review of any internal audit.Review of quarterly Control Self-Assessment (CSA/FRC) review and submission.Manage of annual insurance declaration for L&AF.QualificationsQualified Chartered Accountant with FMCG Commercial Management experience.Minimum of 3-5 years related working experience at senior managerial level within an FMCG environment together with an additional 3-5 years financial management experience (min 8 years experience post qualification).Good financial technical skills particularly database reporting & standard costing principles.Experience with exports and hedge accounting.Project and People Management experience.Computer literate - MS Office, Oracle/SAP, Cognos, Micro Strategy.About UsTiger Brands is proudly Africa's largest listed manufacturer of fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG).
