Previous NextFinance Manager (Based in Tanzania)LocationThe successful candidate for this role will be based in Tanzania.The RoleWe are looking for a motivated professional to join us in the capacity of Finance Manager, based in West Kilimanjaro.In this role you will be reporting to the General Manager with a dotted line to the Financial Controller TMEA (Turkey, Middle East & Africa) region and work pro-actively with our Regional Leadership Team, staff and other stakeholders to advance and maintain our program of continuous improvement of our financial management and accounting practices.Responsibilities:Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variancesSupport month-end and year-end close processPrepare and publish timely monthly financial statementsSupport new projects' financial projectionsCapex application, preparation and spending control (project management)Support managers with business information to the decision-making processKPI and Cost control analysisCoordinate the preparation of regulatory reportingImprove the quality control over financial transactions and financial reportingCoordinate to comply with local, state and federal government reporting requirements and tax fillingsDevelop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controlsJob QualificationsProven working experience in finance5+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experienceBachelor's in Accountancy or related fieldRegistered member of NBAA (CPA Holder)Understanding of poultry operations is preferredStrong knowledge of Excel, Great Plains. Any ERP experience is an added advantage.Excellent verbal, written communication and organizational skillsDetailed-oriented approach and the ability to prioritize work-flow and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
