We are seeking an experienced Finance Lead to drive financial strategy and oversee our financial operations. As a key member of the finance team, you will manage financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis to support strategic decision-making.This position is based in Cape Town, with preference given to candidates currently residing there due to the office location.Key Responsibilities:Lead budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with department heads to develop accurate financial plans.Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.Ensure accurate financial reporting in compliance with local regulations and international accounting standards.Develop financial models, forecasts, and variance analyses to assess financial performance and evaluate business metrics.Establish internal controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure regulatory compliance.Coordinate audits, liaise with auditors, and address audit findings and recommendations.Manage cash flow projections and working capital requirements.Provide strategic financial guidance and insights to senior management and stakeholders.Lead and mentor the finance team, providing guidance and coaching opportunities.Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities.Ensure compliance with tax regulations and reporting requirements.Promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement within the finance function.Candidate Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting roles.Strong understanding of internal controls, risk management, and financial reporting processes.Experience working in multinational corporations or large-scale organizations.Excellent analytical skills and ability to interpret complex financial data.Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.Proven leadership abilities and track record of building high-performing teams.Detail-oriented with focus on accuracy and integrity.The compensation package includes a competitive salary, benefits, and professional development opportunities.
