Finance Intern

Requirements Diploma or Degree in Finance 2-3 years of Experience Bookkeeping to Trial Balance Drivers Licence Administration and Office Management Experience Compliance with SARS, CIPC, CSD Scope of Work Office Management and Administration Filing and Document Management Adhoc Administration as required by Bookkeeper and CEO Finance Cashbook Capturing for all Internal and External Companies companies and making sure all cashbook transactions have source documents and are captured correctly. (Bank, Credit Cards, Petty Cash, Fleet) Bank Reconciliations Management Accounts for Internal and External companies (Income Statements, Balance Sheet) Assist Bookkeeper with VAT Recons Assist Bookkeeper with Profitability Schedules Assist Bookkeeper with Creditors Assist Bookkeeper with Debtors Budget Management Liaison with internal and external Auditors Statutory Compliance for all internal and external companies Business Development Assist with compiling Tenders, Bids and Proposals for the company Assist in applications to company databases as advised by CEO and COO Assist with Pricing of all Tenders and Managing budgets Compliance Ensure the company's compliance with local, state, and all regulations. Assist COO in developing and maintaining compliance policies and procedures. Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure adherence to compliance standards. Assist in training and guidance to staff regarding compliance policies. Monitor changes in laws and regulations, and update practices accordingly
