Finance Director

Job Title:Director of Finance and AdministrationJob Description:The Director of Finance and Administration will be responsible for leading the financial management of The HR Company. This includes overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, as well as ensuring compliance with legal regulations and corporate governance frameworks.Key Responsibilities:Formulate and implement internal controls and accounting processes to safeguard company assetsProvide financial planning and on-going advice to the Managing Director and Senior ManagementFormulate financial targets and annual budgets in accordance with the strategy determined by the Managing Director and Board of DirectorsOversee preparation of Annual Financial Statements and facilitation of External AuditMonitor compliance against Company policies regarding capital requirements, hedging, debt, taxation, equity and acquisitions, etc.Responsible for ensuring that the regulatory requirements of all statutory bodies are met regarding all the Company's financial affairsResponsible for overall cash management, both operational and hedging related, on an ongoing basisReview of monthly management and quarterly directors financial reporting packsResponsible for stock control and the implementation of procedures and control systemsRequirements:CA (SA) qualificationPostgraduate qualification advantageousRegistration with relevant professional body recommendedAdvanced knowledge of IFRS and GAAPMin 7 years (post articles) experience in financial management, including 4 years in a senior leadership roleManufacturing environment essentialExperience with hedge accounting recommended
