Management LevelSenior ManagerJob Description & SummaryA career in Finance, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to help PwC in all aspects of our Finance internal function including financial planning and reporting, data analysis, and assisting leadership with overall strategy. You'll focus on recording and analysing financial transactions, paying and receiving invoices, maintaining financial statement ledger accounts, and preparing analysis and reconciliations of bills to detect fraud.Our Finance Operations team manages PwC's financial risk through financial planning and reporting, data analysis, and tactical consulting. You will be responsible for overseeing SATIC's financial operations and making sure that effective financial procedures are in place. This will include the timely and accurate provision of information on capabilities as they are acquired and the active monitoring of availability and utilisation in support of regular reporting. You will be working as part of the executive team to fulfil the operations of the SATIC business goals. You will formulate the SATIC finance strategy, driving change and ensuring the business is performing to the best of its ability from a financial perspective.Qualifications / Certifications required:CA (SA) / CIMA / CFA or equivalentExperience required:Minimum of 10 years relevant work experience of which 3 years proven experience as a Senior Finance Manager/Finance Controller or similar leadership role.Responsibilities of role:Financial Planning and Strategy:Develop and oversee the financial strategy of SATIC.Conduct financial forecasting and modelling, budgeting, and long-term financial planning.Analyse and interpret financial data to inform strategic decisions.Financial Reporting:Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial reports and statements.Oversee the preparation of financial and annual reports/disclosures for stakeholders, including shareholders, regulatory bodies, and the board of directors.Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.Financial Risk Management:Identify and manage financial risks, including market, credit, and operational risks.Ensure adequate insurance coverage.Treasury and Cash Flow Management:Manage cash flow to ensure it meets operational needs.Oversee investment strategies and manage relationships with banks and financial institutions.Ensure efficient capital allocation and maintain liquidity.Internal Controls and Compliance:Maintain robust internal controls and ensure the integrity of financial information.Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.Oversee internal and external audits.Cost Management:Monitor and manage costs.Develop cost reduction strategies and efficiency improvements.Oversee financial aspects of procurement and vendor management where relevant.Leadership and Team Management:Manage the finance resources/support in line with the company's values and behaviours.Provide training and development opportunities for staff.Collaborate with other executives and lead to align financial strategies with overall business goals.Mentor team members.Stakeholder Relations:Communicate the financial performance and strategy to relevant leadership teams and shareholders.Manage relationships with shareholders.Technology and Financial Systems:Where required, oversee the implementation and/or maintenance of financial systems and software.Ensure that financial data is accurately captured and reported.Leverage technology to improve financial processes and reporting.Corporate Governance:Support the board of directors in their governance responsibilities.Develop and implement relevant policies.Ensure transparency and accountability in financial reporting.Skill sets required:Understand technologies such as Oracle, Microsoft, Salesforce, Workday etc.Understanding of budgets and business-planning.Excellent communication skills.Team player.Leadership and organisational abilities.Strategic planning and initiative designs.Problem-solver.Role related attributes:The following attributes are required:Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.Strong customer service orientation.Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language.Keen attention to detail.Presence/Profile within South African Tech Community.* Industry experience required:Delivery centre experience.Travel RequirementsUp to 20%Available for Work Visa Sponsorship?NoJob Posting End DateOctober 29, 2024
