Finance Controller / Accountant - (8 Month Contract)

Key Responsibilities: · Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL and Counsel, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition. · Coordinate and direct with current FM the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances. · Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements. · Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting. · Research technical accounting issues for compliance. · Ensure compliance with group accounting policies. · Support month-end and year-end close process. · Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting · Manage and comply with local, state, and government reporting requirements and tax filings. · Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls. · On Time Reporting of Information as Required by Management. · Coordinate the year end Audit. · Provide management with all necessary Information used for Strategic decision making. Skills Required: Computer/Software skills - · Excel · Word · Email · Power Point · Sage Evolution or similar Min of 3 years in a similar role Financial / Accounting qualification would be an advantage Attention to details Strong communication skills excellent grammar and command of the English language Stable track record Contactable references Positive attitude THIS IS A 8 MONTH TEMPORARY ASSIGNMENT (MATERNITY LEAVE STAND IN)
