Finance Controller / Accountant - (8 Month Contract)

Key Responsibilities: · Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL and Counsel, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition.· Coordinate and direct with current FM the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances.· Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.· Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.· Research technical accounting issues for compliance.· Ensure compliance with group accounting policies.· Support month-end and year-end close process.· Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting· Manage and comply with local, state, and government reporting requirements and tax filings.· Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.· On Time Reporting of Information as Required by Management.· Coordinate the year end Audit.· Provide management with all necessary Information used for Strategic decision making.Skills Required:Computer/Software skills - · Excel · Word · Email · Power Point · Sage Evolution or similarMin of 3 years in a similar roleFinancial / Accounting qualification would be an advantageAttention to detailsStrong communication skills excellent grammar and command of the English languageStable track recordContactable referencesPositive attitude THIS IS A 8 MONTH TEMPORARY ASSIGNMENT (MATERNITY LEAVE STAND IN)
