Operations and Finance ConsultantA company in Cape Town is looking for an operations and finance consultant to join their team.Duties & ResponsibilitiesThis role will play a critical part in ensuring our service to clients and independent professionals is prompt and professional, as well as helping keep a tight rein on all financial matters at the company.Finance:Monthly invoicing and paymentsP&L and cashflow review and projectionsFinance analysis and reportingRegular liaison with external accountantsPayroll management for freelancersContracting:MSA reviews and implementation, including vendor registration workDrafting of freelancer contracts and addendumsLiaison with client procurement and HR teams to ensure signing of contractsReview, drafting and maintenance of key legal documents, such as NDAs, consulting contracts, etc.Client and sales analysis and reportingMaintain e-filing of key client and freelancer dataSupport the sales team with business development activities, such as target client analysis, pitch deck building, etc.Coordination of marketing eventsCustomer Service Assistant:Scheduling of interviews and meetingsOnboarding and offboarding processesPeople Orientation:Onboarding of new hiresTeam events and staff engagementDesired Experience & Qualification2 years' experience in finance and operationsHighly numerate, and able to conduct analysis and work with dataExperience working with contracts and legal documentsDetail-oriented with strong organisational skillsAbility to engage and manage senior stakeholdersGood skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OutlookXero accounting would be an advantageWillingness to work from home and officeLocated in Cape Town or a willingness to relocate to Cape Town
