Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Finance Co-ordinator to join our team in Randburg, South Africa. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in managing financial operations, ensuring accuracy, and supporting the overall financial health of our organization.
Coordinate and oversee daily financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance
Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, and forecasts
Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes
Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies
Monitor and track expenses, ensuring compliance with company policies
Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data and provide insights
Implement and maintain financial controls and procedures
Assist in the preparation of audit materials and liaise with external auditors
Support the development and implementation of financial strategies and initiatives
Stay up-to-date with financial regulations and ensure compliance
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
3-5 years of experience in finance or accounting roles
Proficiency in financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial calculations
Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements
Exceptional organizational and time management skills
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) preferred
Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion
