Finance Clerk

We are looking to recruit a permanent Finance Clerk to work within the Accounting and Reporting department. The role will be based at Clicks Head Office in Cape Town and will report to the Finance Manager I.
To improve the lease and fixed asset process of Clicks Group by assisting with capturing, reviewing, reconciliations, and investigations.
Responsibilities:Compile the monthly reconciliation of the lease accounting for entities within the GroupInvestigate any differences in the lease accountingSupport the group accountant, financial manager, and systems manager in improving the lease accounting processReview contracts to identify if the system captured information correctlyAssist with fixed asset take-ons, write-offs, reconciliations, analysis, and investigation, and raising journalsCreate electronic purchase orders for the Digital business unit and see the process through to payment of the invoicesOther adhoc tasksQualifications and Experience:Matric / Grade 12 (Essential)Diploma/Degree in Financial Accounting (Essential)1 - 3 years experience in a finance environmentSAP experience (Essential)Skills:Sound analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong attention to detailInterpersonal skills
