Finance Clerk

Minimum Requirements:Grade 12Tertiary qualification in finance or accounting beneficial and preferredMore than 3 years experience in a finance or accounting roleStrong Excel experienceReside in the Helderberg area Duties and Responsibilities:Perform debtor reconciliations to ensure accuracy of outstanding receivablesConduct creditor reconciliations (matching payments to invoices)Reconcile bank statements to ensure financial accuracyAssist with cash flow forecasting and managementProcess supplier invoices (including debtor and producer invoices if applicable)Ensure accurate allocation of costs to purchase ordersVerify invoices meet SARS valid tax invoice requirementsCapture payments in the accounting system (matching payments to invoices)Issue remittance advices to suppliersMaintain timely receipt of supplier invoices and statementsManage supplier correspondence and follow-up actionsObtain necessary approvals for invoice paymentsPrepare financial reports and ad-hoc reports as neededAssist with the preparation of the annual auditManage filing systems for invoices and other financial documentsProcess debit/credit card transactionsPost journal entries for various accounting activities PLEASE NOTE:  Thank you for your interest in this position, we will review and be in touch if you are suitable.
