We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Finance Business Partner to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tech companies, specifically in professional services and SaaS environments, and will be a qualified accountant (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA). The Finance Business Partner will be a key strategic advisor to the business, driving financial performance, providing insightful analysis, and supporting decision-making processes across multiple functions.Key Responsibilities:Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):Support the budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to improve profitability and efficiency.Develop financial models and scenario analyses to support strategic initiatives and business cases.Provide resource and talent management insights like utilization and productivity reports.Business Partnering:Act as a trusted advisor to business unit leaders, providing financial guidance and supporting key decision-making.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales and Growth, Product, and Delivery, to optimize financial outcomes.Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) relevant to SaaS and professional services, driving improvements and accountability.Revenue Management:Oversee revenue planning and recognition for SaaS and professional services in compliance with relevant accounting standards (e.g., IFRS 15).Support pricing strategies and protect project margins.Manage the financial aspects of customer contracts, ensuring alignment with company objectives.Financial Reporting & Compliance:Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly management accounts and variance analysis.Ensure alignment between external financial reporting and management reporting.Maintain robust internal controls, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.Support the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors as required.Strategic Initiatives:Contribute to the development and execution of strategic initiatives, including market expansion, product launches, and M&A activities.Lead financial due diligence and integration efforts for acquisitions.Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and scalability.Qualifications:Education & Certification:Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent).Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
