Minimum Job Requirements: B.Com Degree. Finance or Advanced Business qualification (CA (SA), ACA, ACMA) or equivalent. Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role. Specific knowledge and experience of Greenhouse Gas reporting, an advantage. Deep understanding of Finance processes and the ability to translate these into new areas. Competencies: Process oriented, with good experience of delivering change across processes & systems. Credibility to influence with impact across all areas of the business. Strategic mind-set, with ability to demonstrate a sound knowledge of wider business. Strong engagement and communication skills. Proven ability in developing effective working relationships across all levels of the organisation, particularly with Senior Management. Excellent planning and project management skills. Ability to multitask, plan and prioritise work schedule for self and team and work within agreed timescales. Constantly look for continuous improvement. Willingness to travel to all Group operations in Africa and Europe, on a quarterly basis. Key Performance Areas: Participate in the management and development of data management solutions to support the tracking, monitoring, accuracy and availability of non-financial metric data. Develop processes to support improvements in data quality and accuracy. Collaborate with the Head of Finance Business Partnering to partner with the subject-matter experts across the division to provide value add in the ESG area and to deliver integrated reporting. Stay in touch with the evolving regulatory environment to ensure compliance with the requirements of regulators and external stakeholders. Embed financial good practice into functions that traditionally had little finance engagement. Partner with functional leads supporting analysis, challenge and risk and opportunity management. Work across all BU's to ensure that verification of the key non-financial metrics is in place, developed and of an acceptable standard. Work closely with internal and external Audit teams to ensure that verification and accuracy. Manage the annual and regular processes to assess the accuracy of data submissions and understand the improvements that are being made in the underlying results. Identify, develop, and implement improvement initiatives to simplify processes, automate processes, or eliminate "workarounds" to improve collation and reporting activities. Ensure the delivery of accurate, timely information for reporting requirements.
