We're seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Automation and Data Engineer to join our dynamic finance team. In this role, you will drive automation and data engineering efforts, optimizing our financial processes and ensuring our finance function can scale efficiently with the business.

What you'll doOwn and implement the Finance Automation and Tech roadmap by evaluating and prioritizing new automation and data initiatives, working closely with the finance team to build a best-in-class function.Act as the primary finance liaison to technical teams (Data, RevOps, Product & Development), ensuring seamless collaboration and integration.Develop and implement scalable, efficient financial processes, leveraging technology and industry best practices.Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders, driving informed decision-making and alignment across teams.Develop and maintain data pipelines and infrastructure to ensure the accessibility and accuracy of financial data for analysis and process optimization within the finance function.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support company-wide initiatives and ensure alignment with finance objectives.Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices, applying this knowledge to drive continuous improvements within the finance team.What you'll need to succeedProven experience as a Data Engineer, Technical Business Analyst or similar role, with a track record of driving process improvements and delivering automation solutions.Hands-on experience in designing and implementing custom integrations, workflows, API connections, and dashboards to automate financial processes.Experience with Netsuite or similar ERP systems is a plus.Strong SQL skills, with experience building and maintaining complex queries and databases and developing custom forms or dashboards to streamline data management and reporting.Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather, interpret, and synthesize complex data to support decision-making and optimize operations.Demonstrated ability to lead projects from initiation to completion, managing multiple priorities in a structured manner.A genuine curiosity and enthusiasm for automation, with a proactive approach to identifying and implementing system improvements.Solid English communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across different teams, including technical and non-technical functions.Proven problem-solving skills, with a hands-on approach to resolving issues and delivering practical solutions.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing priorities while maintaining a focus on quality and detail.
