Finance Assistant

An Accounts Assistant is needed temporarily at a live events company in East London. The role is needed until the end of January 2025 and is office-based 5 days a week.
The Accounts Assistant will be responsible for: Management of the accounts payable process and the main point of contact for queriesProcessing weekly show income invoices and ensuring the amounts received reconcileMaintaining and preparing bank reconciliationsMonitoring accounts receivable, ensuring collections are made on time and managing overdue accountsManagement of the PO processManagement of expenses and credit card processAssisting in the preparation of quarterly VAT returnsProcessing weekly payment runsSupporting the wider team as requiredThe ideal Accounts Assistant will: Have 3+ years of Accounts Payable experienceHave some level of Accounts Receivable/debt collecting experience (ideal)Have used a range of different software and be able to pick new ones up quicklyBe proactive in their approach to workHave strong communication skillsIf this is the role for you - apply now!
