Finance Assistant

Well-established company based in Joostenbergvlakte, just outside Durbanville, has a newly created role for a financial assistant to join their dynamic team.
Working closely with the Financial Manager, you will be required to do the following:Weekly staff capturing for cost allocationsCapturing & coding of reimbursement expensesWeekly wages for two entities (30 weekly & 10 perm)Complete and submit BIBC benefit reports (Building Industries Bargaining Council)Creditor reconsCapturing and allocating of stockReconciling bank accountsAssist with purchase ordersCapturing of supplier invoicesMonth end capturing on QuickbooksMonthly general journal entriesReconciling intercompany loan accountsResolving of discrepancies on sales reportEnsure all invoices are VAT compliantGeneral administration dutiesRequirements:Grade 12 (with Maths & Accounting)Accounting diploma/ certificate will be an advantage2 Years reconciliation experience within a financial departmentFully bilingual (English & Afrikaans)Skills & Competencies:Computer literate – MS OfficeQuickbooks DesktopExcel intermediate levelAccuracyAttention to detailPerform under pressureResults orientatedAble to work independently
