Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Functional Consultant specializing in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) to join our team. This role combines deep financial expertise with functional implementation capabilities, focusing on delivering end-to-end solutions using modern DevOps practices and agile methodologies.
Key Responsibilities Lead functional design and implementation of D365 F&O solutions, with particular emphasis on financial modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Expense Management, Tax and Financial Reporting.Configure and customize financial processes, workflows, and business rules according to business requirements.Architect and develop custom solutions and integrations within the D365 F&O platform.Document complex business report requirements for delivery by third parties.Manage solution deployment and release management using Azure DevOps.Provide functional leadership in agile project delivery, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and sprint reviews.Troubleshoot complex functional and technical issues across the F&O platform.Mentor junior team members on functional best practices and financial process implementation.Minimum Qualifications: 5+ years of experience implementing Dynamics 365 F&O or AX2012 across the globe.Strong understanding of financial processes, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements.Proven experience with Azure DevOps, build and release pipelines is a bonus.Proficiency in SQL, SSRS, and Power Platform integration.Experience with agile methodologies and sprint-based delivery.Functional Skills Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O or AX2012 (minimum 5 years).Azure DevOps.SQL Server.Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate).SSRS/Financial Reporting.Soft Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Excellent communication skills with both functional and non-functional stakeholders.Ability to translate complex financial requirements into functional solutions.Experience in client-facing roles and stakeholder management.Strong project management and organizational skills.Proven ability to work effectively in agile teams.Qualified candidates should demonstrate a strong combination of functional expertise, financial acumen, and project delivery experience within the Microsoft Dynamics 365 ecosystem.
