Responsible for designing and maintaining the regional reporting catalogue and providing key support for Regional leadership team and also being a key business partner for local finance/commercial teams within the EMEA region.ResponsibilitiesUnderstand the data structure of IQVIA to maintain reporting accuracy and to be able to translate business requests into reports that support management insights and decisionCo-ordinate and improve the regional reporting processes (P&L focus)Support EMEA leadership by reviewing monthly results, forecasts, and annual budgets. Provides insight and highlights areas of risk and/or opportunity in the EMEA RBU. Perform ad-hoc financial analysis.Analyse structured financial and operational reports to identify trends, anomalies and focus areas to achieve business objectives.Assist management in preparation of operating/functional review meetings, strategic planning review meetings and budget review meetings.Prepare and perform comprehensive quality checks on every report as standard; troubleshoot issues and find solutions as required; propose process improvements to minimize occurrence of issuesRun ad hoc analysis using Hyperion, SAP, SFDC and other data sources to provide business insights.Identify reporting best practices from other IQVIA Teams and adapt them for the EMEA regional FP&A requirementsProvide direction and guidance to the Financial Analyst within the regional FP&A teamEducation, Experience & SkillsExpert users of MS Excel (owner of complex models, multi spreadsheet excel templates)Bachelor's degree or equivalent in analytic subject and 3-5 years of experience in an analytical role, commercial finance or financial planning and analysisPart-qualified ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent advantage but not requirementTechnical accounting skillsGood analytical and numeracy skillsExperience in financial systems and databases.Excellent oral and written communication skills (in English) as well as strong ownership and focus.Proven record of results working with senior management.Strong project management skills and the ability to translate business issues into financial requirements.High level of integrity and self-confidence.Must be IT literate, with experience of financial reporting or accounting packages, MS Office
