Finance Accountant (Assets)

Purpose
To provide bookkeeping services for the company, from trial balances to financial statements, in line with its chart of accounts specific to its operating business needs.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee all booking functions within the assets company from trial to balance sheet.
Preparation and reporting of performance costing and variance analysis reports (daily, weekly, monthly).
Consolidating and preparing financial statements.
Preparation of audit support working papers and communicating with external auditors.
Ensure taxation compliance and prepare any required documentation, including communication with external tax consultants.
Handle other accounting functions as requested.

Skills Required

BCom Accounting degree or similar, or studying towards it.
Minimum 3 – 4 years' experience in an accounting role.
Similar experience in an asset management environment will be advantageous.
Cost accounting experience.
