Oversee inventory accounting, track raw material costs, and coordinate with production teams to ensure accurate cost allocation.
Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts by incorporating cost projections for manufacturing, labor, and inventory.
Conduct daily bank reconciliations, monitor cash flow, and prepare monthly cash flow statements.
Prepare and submit VAT, PAYE, and other regulatory reports, maintaining compliance with SARS requirements.
Generate monthly financial reports, including income statements and cash flow statements tailored to manufacturing.
Analyze cost structures, track operational efficiency, and provide recommendations to control production costs.
Prepare audit documentation and work with auditors to ensure compliance and accurate reporting.
Requirements Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, with CIMA or similar certification as a plus.
3+ years of experience in a financial role, ideally in the manufacturing industry.
Strong understanding of cost accounting, inventory control, and analysis of manufacturing costs.
Proficiency in South African tax regulations, particularly VAT and PAYE.
Skilled in accounting software (such as Sage or Pastel) and Excel for financial modeling and analysis.
Strong analytical and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced environment.
