Field Technician - Benoni

FIELD TECHNICIAN
REPORTING TO: Operations Manager
LOCATION: Benoni
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

Install and maintain vehicle cameras in all types of vehicles.
Install and maintain vehicle telematics in all types of vehicles.
Install and maintain aftermarket safety systems in all types of vehicles.

REQUIREMENTS

Valid driver's license.
Valid passport will be an advantage.
Valid police clearance.
Medically fit to work in the field/mines/construction sites (a medical examination will be performed).
Able to work out of town/country for longer periods of time.
Travel overnight and sleep out.
Able to use power tools.
Ability to work at heights.
Work overtime and on weekends when required.
Work independently and in a team environment.
Be punctual.
Must be fluent in English.
Ability to work on a laptop and have basic computer skills.
Good knowledge of cars, trucks, LDV, yellow equipment, mining equipment auto electrical, and comfortable troubleshooting electrical systems and components fault findings.
Immediately available.

EXPERIENCE

Minimum 3 years proven experience in the same industry with contactable references.
More than 5 years driving experience.
