We are seeking a proactive and skilled Field Support Engineer to join our team. You'll be responsible for providing on-site technical support, maintenance, and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network systems at client locations. The ideal candidate will ensure minimal system downtime, deliver exceptional service, and maintain strong client relationships.
Skills and ExperienceWhat you'll do: Responsible for repairing, troubleshooting, and installing hardware and software of new and faulty laptops and desktops.Windows OS software installation, support, and troubleshooting including of 3rd party applications.Ensure that all open tickets are managed within the SLA.Reach efficiency targets.Provide mobility support/workshop and field support engineering.Your expertise: 2 - 5 years practical experience in service delivery; desktop support; network support; and Active Directory.Qualifications required: Grade 12Certificate in CompTIA A+/N+ International or equivalent is essential; MSCE or MCDST preferred.ITIL Foundation V4.OtherOther information applicable to the opportunity: Permanent PositionWork environment: Office building in Sandton, with access to stairs.Physical demands: Bound to sitting at a desk.Travel: Requires valid driver's license and own transport.Why work for us?
