Are you a dynamic and results-driven professional with a passion for excellence in field service operations?
My client is seeking a Regional Field Services Manager to lead their Inland region, ensuring that their service delivery is second to none.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced manager to make a significant impact on an already successful business.
You will be responsible for the profitable and efficient management of the inland regional office focused on field services - including, but not limited to, installations, maintenance, and audits, as well as collaboration with the warehousing function within the region.
You will be required to contribute to the development and implementation of operational strategies and processes.
This position will be based in Johannesburg, with the following regions under your control:
JohannesburgBloemfonteinPolokwaneNelspruit KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS Planning & ManagementOperational AccountabilityLeadership & CommunicationQuality Assurance KEY PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES Planning & Management Improve operational efficiency and profitability through:
Thorough campaign/task planning & managementStaff management (job descriptions, bi-annual KPI reviews, discipline, etc.)
and recruitmentMotivating, mentoring & training of staffImplementing agreed business policies, processes and proceduresPerformance measurement & reportingControl of all expenses vs agreed budgets Operational Accountability -- Field Services Accountable for the management of Field Services teams including:
Campaign Planning & on-time delivery of high-quality Field ServicesAppointing & managing all Tradereach staff, agents and contractorsFleet management of the Tradereach vehiclesEnsure all company processes and procedures are implemented (including Health & Safety)Proactive Leadership & Communication Continually review areas of accountability to introduce and implement value-added strategiesEnhance the performance of the regional office, resulting in greater client and staff satisfactionEnsure the National Operations Manager is kept updated on Regional developmentsQuality Assurance & Work Inspection Accept accountability for the quality of work delivered by all team membersEnsure regular field visits are conducted to monitor quality & understand areas of focus in the drive for service excellence QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE Degree / Diploma / National Certificate or equivalentMinimum of 5 years of management experience SKILLS & EXPERIENCE Microsoft Office proficientDemonstrated leadership and vision in managing staff groups and major projects or initiativesExcellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management styleHigh professional ethical standardsExcels at operating in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentAbility to delegate responsibilities effectivelyStrong communication skills (oral and written)Problem-solving skillsCalm and Professional ADDITIONAL QUALITIES REQUIRED Energetic and passionate about the role and industryHands-on approach to management and problem-solvingAbility to lead by example and actively participate in field operations when necessaryEnthusiastic about driving team performance and achieving resultsAdaptable and resilient in facing challenges in a dynamic regional environment The salary for this position is R30 000 per month - PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU ARE ALREADY EARNING MORE THAN THIS
