Job Description
We are hiring an ambitious Field Services Technician to join our company. The primary objective is to proactively review client requests or tickets and apply technical/process knowledge to resolve them without breaching service level agreement (SLA). This role ensures adherence to all processes within the client environment and maintains a high degree of client satisfaction across all assignments.
Reporting Line: Divisional Head-Field Services & Managed by: Supervisor
Working Hours: 08h00am – 17h00pm (rotational & overtime occasionally)Standby: Scheduled rotation
Position Based: Mpumalanga
Purpose: The primary objective is to proactively review client requests or tickets and apply technical/process knowledge to resolve them without breaching service level agreement (SLA).
Responsibilities:
Conform to contractual SLA requirements
Accurate completion of worksheets, checklists, and project documentation
Diagnose, fault-find, and problem-solve
Understand HSSE and PPE requirements
Boot stock management and vehicle inspections
Manage hardware tools (condition of tools, cell phone & tablet)
Manage software tools (laptops, antivirus, legal software, Stowe images availability, utility software availability)
Minimum Requirements:
Grade 12 Qualification
A+ and N+ (CompTIA) Certification or NQF 5 equivalent
At least 1 year IT industry experience
Driver's License
Passport

Written and verbal communication skills
Technical and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work under pressure
