Field Service Technician

Location: Meyerton & RustenburgThe ideal candidate will have a wide range of responsibilities including maintenance, repair, and calibration of field equipment specifically related to commercial trucks and trailers. The successful candidate will be a problem solver who is responsive to the company and its customers' roadside and breakdown needs.ResponsibilitiesComplete roadside breakdowns in an orderly fashion and be precise in time management.Regular feedback and updates regarding the challenges on hand or completion of specific tasks.Provide diagnostic analysis, repair, or preventative maintenance on trucks, trailers, and buses.Practice and adhere to all safety and training protocols.QualificationsStrong written and verbal communication skills.5+ years qualification as a diesel mechanic with relevant transportation background.Knowledge And Experience On The FollowingCommercial Trucks, Trailers, and Buses including MAN, Mercedes, FAW, Scania, Daewoo, Henred Fruehauf, BPW, Volvo, DAF, Fuso, HINO, etc.Must HavesBasic Toolbox.Valid driver's license.Clear criminal record.Ability to perform independently.Willing to work shifts and travel.Company ProvidesCompany Vehicle.Company fuel card.Company petty cash.Accommodation when travelling.Seniority levelNot ApplicableEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionEngineering and Information TechnologyIndustriesStaffing and Recruiting
